OHIO-----May 30, 2012

This morning we went to the Football Hall of Fame.  I wasn't interested in going in so I sat in the car and read my book.  Jesse was in there for about an hour and they had to evacuate the building.  They were doing some extensive work on the building and the sprinkler systems went on in one area.  He came out and had to wait 1 1/2 hrs until they let everyone back into the building.  He finally did get to do the whole thing.  He said it was good.

After that we went into Canton, Oh to see the First Ladies National Historic Site.  We got a private tour of this museum.  There were dresses from some of the first First Ladies.  One room had pictures of all the first Ladies and a little writeup about them.  This museum is on the site of the former home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley.  William and Ida lived here during the 14 years he served in Congress.  It was a very nice tour and we are glad we did it.  We also got another stamp for our book.

It was still too early to go back to the motorhome so we went for a drive to the Smuckers Store in Dalton, Oh.
Very pretty store.  Not worth going out of your way to see though.  They don't give any tours of the plant.  It is in a part of Ohio where the Amish live.  The farms were beautiful so it was really a nice drive.

This was another very nice day.  The weather has been good,,,,,forcast for tomorrow is lots of rain.
